SOUTHBOROUGH — The Advisory Committee backed using the Reserve Fund to pay for a Facilities Department vehicle in a straw poll during its joint meeting with the Select Board on FY27 budget matters. Chair Marci Jones Salow and members Andrew Pfaff, Erik Glaser, and Larry Samberg all voted in favor. Finance Director Brian Ballantine reported a $28,000 return from the DPW budget and recommended Free Cash funding for vehicles serving the Facilities, Police, and DPW departments.
The Committee will revisit the matter pending additional information from Superintendent Cundiff on capital projects.
