Southborough affordable housing trust votes to enter executive session on property acquisition. Chair Paul Desmond and members Al Hamilton, Ellen Marya, Doug Manz, and David Joyner met remotely April 14, approving prior meeting minutes by unanimous votes and then voting unanimously to discuss a potential property acquisition. During public comment, member Hamilton disclosed he consulted the state Attorney General's office regarding a conflict on a 61A property where his daughter is an abutter, but urged expeditious pursuit of the acquisition, noting the town has taken no significant affordable housing action in decades.
The board voted 4-0 to enter executive session to discuss the potential property acquisition.
