Select Board · Meeting of June 16, 2026

Southborough Select Board approved a National Grid pole petition for Parkerville Road and set town meeting dates for October 17, 2026 and March 20, 2027. Molly Schofield, a clinical social worker at Boston Children's Hospital, was appointed to fill a Library Board vacancy with a term expiring in 2027. The board voted unanimously to approve the pole, which had been relocated after discussions between Vice Chair Pfaff and National Grid representatives determined a more suitable location.

In separate action, the board allocated $30,000 in bottom-line Economic Development Committee funds to pay for MassDevelopment consulting services on a District Improvement Financing plan, with Pfaff voting against. The Tricentennial Committee reported raising approximately $205,000 in donations and planning to install 50 commemorative banners ahead of Southborough's 2027 300th anniversary celebration.
