Southborough Board of Assessors unanimously approves senior tax work-off, grants three abatements. Chairman Jeffrey Klein led the board in approving 25 senior tax work-off certificates totaling $41,361.25 from the overlay account, with members Tammi Rice and Heath Widdiss present. The board also unanimously granted three real estate tax abatements totaling $90,700 in assessed value, resulting in $1,302.45 in abated tax.
One real estate abatement request was denied.
