CPC Defers Golf Course Irrigation Project to Fall

Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of January 28, 2026

SOUTHBOROUGH — Community Preservation Committee defers $900,000 golf course irrigation project. The committee deferred a $900,000 golf course irrigation project to the fall Special Town Meeting pending analysis of funding sources and the golf course revolving fund, with DPW Superintendent Bill Cundiff explaining that the revised estimate stems primarily from the need to install a pump station to address water pressure issues. The committee also deferred the Rural Cemetery Water Tower Restoration Project and continued its detailed review of the Fayville Park improvements project, which would include splash pad, dog park, and parking enhancements for the town.
