HOUSING AUTHORITY APPROVES SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
Southborough Housing Authority unanimously awarded a $143,900 sidewalk construction contract on June 8. The three-member board contracted with Oakridge Construction, Inc. for sidewalk improvements including removal of existing sidewalks, handicap-accessible work, and walking paths behind buildings.

Southborough Housing Authority unanimously awarded a $143,900 sidewalk construction contract on June 8. The three-member board contracted with Oakridge Construction, Inc. for sidewalk improvements including removal of existing sidewalks, handicap-accessible work, and walking paths behind buildings. Executive Director Paul Landers reported the first lowest bidder withdrew citing a mathematical error in their bid, and the Authority proceeded with the second-lowest bidder after checking references.
The board also unanimously approved Accounts Payable as of June 8.
