Library Board of Trustees · Meeting of January 12, 2026
Southborough library board approves FY27 budget with 9.6 percent increase. The Library Board of Trustees unanimously approved a $756,701 budget for fiscal year 2027, up from $690,516 in FY26, with Vice Chair Jane Davis, Trustees Mary Tinti, Amy Yazdani, and David Ekberg voting in favor. The budget adds roughly $10,000 each in program and professional development funding after grant sources have been exhausted and external sponsorships proved unsustainable.
Director Ryan Donovan will present the budget to the Select Board and Advisory Committee on January 24 at 2:45 PM. The board also authorized up to $1,000 in spending from donations for foldable tables for library programs and the Friends book sale.
