Library Board approves landscaping project, clears director evaluation phase

Library Board of Trustees · Meeting of April 13, 2026

SOUTHBOROUGH — Library Board approves landscaping project and advances director evaluation. The Trustees voted unanimously to authorize up to $1,500 in State Aid funding for Curtiss Landscaping to reseed the front grounds where an asphalt path was removed, with Vice Chair Jane Davis and Director Ryan Donovan having identified the vendor. A lingering salary-account discrepancy was cleared after the Accounting Department confirmed a $6,136.03 adjustment from fall 2025 had been omitted, leaving sufficient funds and a small surplus.

Chair Marguerite Landry will collate trustee evaluations of Director Donovan due by mid-May, completing the first phase of his formal review.
