SOUTHBOROUGH — Open Space Preservation Commission unanimously supports Johnson land recreational use. Chair Frederica Gillespie and commissioners Leslie Naditch and Joan Levenson backed Lot 3 of the Johnson Right of First Refusal property on Northboro Road for open space and park purposes. The commission also voted unanimously to promote the Linda Hubley Scholarship at future events, and noted that Chestnut Hill Farm Trustees have found a farmer for the property.
Work continues on native plant requirement language for Planning Board adoption and on Golf Course Audubon management, with Brenna Pierson now serving as the golf course liaison.
