Southborough Personnel Board voted unanimously to approve 19 comparable communities for a salary benchmarking study. The list comprised 15 communities from a 2014 study plus four new selections—Bedford, Lincoln, Millis, and Norfolk—excluding Dover based on demographic concerns identified by MGT Impact Solutions. Project Manager Katy Yee clarified that the study was not intended to assess employee performance or staffing needs.
The board also unanimously approved FY27 pay rate increases: Youth Service Librarian Marianna Sorensen to $37.01 per hour, Part-Time Police Dispatcher Nancy D'Auteuil to $29.86 per hour, and Part-Time Police Dispatcher Robert Walker to $29.28 per hour.
