Personnel Board approves Fair Labor Standards Act training and salary plan amendments.

SOUTHBOROUGH — Personnel Board approves $3,000 FLSA training workshop and Salary Administration Plan amendments. Chair Jason Malinowski, with members John Thorburn and Brian Shea voting unanimously, approved a two-session Fair Labor Standards Act training for all Town employees and voted to include holiday and sick time in overtime threshold calculations. The Board also raised the acting pay differential for employees serving in department head roles from 10 percent to 25 percent, capped at the incumbent rate to prevent overpayment.

New job-related stipends were established for a Certified Accountant, Records Access Officer, and Registered Sanitarian.
