SOUTHBOROUGH — Planning Board approves 2025 open space monitoring report documenting encroachments at six subdivisions. Joseph Orzel of Lucas Environmental presented findings showing invasive species including Oriental bittersweet and Japanese knotweed, yard debris, and incomplete boundary markers across Chestnut Meadow, Ledge Hill, Maple Street Extension, Southland Acres, Schipper Farm Estates, and Cain's Crossing at Lincoln Square. In separate business, the board found the Southborough Historical Society at 40-42 Central Street noncompliant with Temporary Certificate of Occupancy conditions after required site plan documents and peer review authorization were not submitted; Jon Delli Priscoli committed to filing a modification application by June 1, 2026, and will report back April 27.
The board approved three prior meeting minutes and adjourned at 8:48 p.m.
