Planning Board approves disability facility, continues six zoning matters.

SOUTHBOROUGH — Planning Board approves disability services facility at 352 Turnpike Road. The board voted unanimously to approve a Major Site Plan modification converting 17,430 square feet of third-floor office space into Disability Assistance & Vocational Education, Inc. (DAVE Living), a residential and educational facility for disabled individuals pursuing trade skills, with 23 units and 24-hour operation; Chair Meme Luttrell, Members Deborah DeMuria, Lisa Braccio, and Alan Belniak approved both the waiver for overnight exterior lighting and the final decision (4-0-1 absent). The board also continued six zoning-related hearings and a non-compliance dispute over 154 Turnpike Road's shade trees, lighting, and landscaping to March 23, with all motions passing unanimously.
