SOUTHBOROUGH — Planning Board advances four major zoning articles toward April town meeting. Chair Meme Luttrell and members Alan Belniak, Debbie DeMuria, and Marnie Hoolahan unanimously continued hearings to February 23 on Industrial Park District updates including data center regulations and battery energy storage systems; a 55+ senior housing bylaw requiring 12.5 percent affordable units; an MBTA overlay dimensional table correction; and replacement of obsolete "SHOPC" references with the Affordable Housing Trust throughout the code. Residents raised concerns about density limits, open space impacts, and the pace of zoning changes without comprehensive planning analysis.
