Scholarship Advisory Committee awards $5,500 in scholarships to six applicants

SOUTHBOROUGH — The Scholarship Advisory Committee unanimously awarded $5,500 to six applicants across four named scholarship funds. Applicant #1 received $1,250 from the Southborough Town Scholarship; Applicant #2 received $1,000 from the Southborough Town Scholarship; Applicant #3 received $1,000 from the Linda Hubley Scholarship; Applicant #4 received $1,000 from the Stefanie Ranieri Scholarship; Applicant #5 received $500 from the Southborough Town Scholarship; and Applicant #6 received $750 from the Stefanie Ranieri Scholarship and $500 from the Carol Harris Scholarship. The committee authorized the Town House to sign and issue checks to recipients and scheduled an award ceremony with a 5:45 p.m. applicant greeting.
