Southborough Scholarship Advisory Committee approves $6,500 in awards to six finalists. Committee Chair Lisa Braccio and all five members present finalized grants ranging from $500 to $1,250, drawing from the Hubley, Town of Southborough, Harris, and Cappello accounts, which hold combined balances of $15,842. Award Certificates of Achievement will be presented June 2 at the Select Board meeting by Rep.
Kate Donahue, with committee support recognized from Katie Barry. A Worcester WooSox game promotion in July will direct ticket-sale proceeds to the Southborough Scholarship Fund.
