Southborough Select Board advances Neary School renovation planning with architect contract. The Board unanimously approved a $165,000 designer services contract with Tappe Architects to conduct a feasibility study and schematic design phase evaluating two renovation options, with final decisions deferred to Town Meeting. Cook and the Board also announced a $3.9 million MassDOT Community Culvert Program grant award for the Willow Street project, eliminating the need for previously authorized town borrowing. The Board approved $11.5 million in bond anticipation notes for school and infrastructure projects at a 2.698 percent net interest rate, and voted 4-1 to appoint Mark Davis to the Elementary School Building Committee.
