Tricentennial Committee · Meeting of March 11, 2026

SOUTHBOROUGH — Tricentennial Committee advances parade budget and event planning for 2027 celebration. Committee Chair Donald Morris will seek 501(c)(3) approval for a $25,000 parade budget from an overall estimate of $50,000 to $75,000, with a priority participant list due at the April meeting. Eric Enge is researching time capsule specifications for Incorporation Day burial on July 6, 2027; Patricia Burns Fiore is coordinating history-themed library events with Library Director Ryan Donovan; and Andrew Dennington is working with Recreation Director Travis Farley on First Night and First Day logistics.

The committee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and reviewed display banner proposals, which the Select Board informally supports and has placed on the town meeting warrant.
