SOUTHBOROUGH — The Community Preservation Committee backed two warrant articles for the fall town meeting. It voted 4-1 to support $433,546 in added CPA funds for golf course irrigation, with $100,000 from the golf course revolving fund, and 5-0 to support the Trails Committee's Peninsula Trail footbridge request of about $216,268. Draft language goes to town counsel, with a final vote set for Sept. 14.
