Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of August 3, 2026

SOUTHBOROUGH — The Community Preservation Committee took no funding votes but set conditions for three applications. Applicants for the golf course irrigation project reported an updated consultant estimate of $970,475, and members noted a sunset clause on the existing $553,000 expires December 31. The trails bridge request rose to $215,000 from $178,000 after an estimated $40,000 for construction administration was added, and a member said the lack of an itemized quote was "a concern." Recreation applicants plan a September 1 parking discussion with the Select Board.

The committee approved minutes from May 20 and July 21, each 6-0, and scheduled its next meeting for August 25.
