Southborough's Community Preservation Committee voted 3-2 to send the trail bridge article to the Oct. 17 town meeting. Chair Lisa Braccio asked for the revote, saying she thought the article was not ready; she and Kristen voted no, while Grant, Ellen and Claire voted yes. Project presenter Kat said the core cost was $324,000 and warned that without the funding "the project stops." A proposed $25,000 floor amendment was dropped by a show of heads.
