SOUTHBOROUGH — The Planning Board continued its Costco hearings to Nov. 16 after reviewing the project's traffic study. The board voted 5-0 on the continuation for the three Costco permits at 21 Coslin Drive, whose action deadline now stands at Dec. 18. Board members, board member Alan Belniak and residents asked the applicant's consultant, Kittleson's Barbara Mosier, to extend the study to Middle, Flag, Parkerville and Southville roads and Route 85.
Mosier said about 5 percent of site traffic, roughly 50 cars in the peak hour, was assumed to head toward Southville Road. The board also voted 4-0 to grant the Valvoline at 361 Turnpike Road a temporary certificate of occupancy with conditions, including a new photometric plan.
