Recreation Commission approves Fay Park renovation survey, eyes field fee increase

SOUTHBOROUGH — Recreation Commission approves Fay Park survey additions and requests May consultant visit. Chair Kristin LaVault and members D. Dumont and C.
Rehlander directed Recreation Director Travis Farley to add four questions to a community engagement survey on proposed improvements to Fay Memorial Park and to coordinate Activitas' attendance at the May meeting to present two design options. The commission also requested that Brian Ballantine attend May's meeting to discuss a revised payback schedule for the 911 Field revolving fund, with field fees set to increase in fall 2026. Summer registration numbers have outpaced last year's March figures by $1,000.
