SOUTHBOROUGH — Recreation Commission unanimously approves bond payback reduction for 911 Field. The commission voted to move $30,000 from the 911 Revolving Fund to cover the reduced payback schedule in fiscal 2027, down from $50,000 annually. Members also authorized Recreation Director T.

Farley to move forward with Step 1 of the Activitas Proposal for Fay Memorial Park, allocating $7,500 from the Recreation Revolving Fund for community engagement sessions, and granted Farley authority to hire seasonal staff for summer 2026. The 911 Field turf is scheduled to open this week, with grass fields opening April 1 pending weather conditions.
