Southborough School Committee unanimously ratifies three-year Unit C staff contract

SOUTHBOROUGH — June 18, 2026 — Southborough School Committee ratifies three-year contract with educational support staff in a two-minute session. The committee voted unanimously, five to zero, Thursday afternoon to approve a collective bargaining agreement with the Southborough Teachers Association Unit C, covering administrative assistants and educational support professionals. The session, called at 2 p.m. and adjourned at 2:02 p.m., followed an earlier executive session in which members had already reviewed and voted on the memorandum of agreement. Heather Richards, presenting for the administration, described the process as "a very collaborative" negotiation, crediting the district's ongoing relationship with the association. Full contract terms will be made public once both sides complete formal ratification.
