Southborough Conservation Commission approves water main replacement on Lynbrook Road. The Commission unanimously issued an Order of Conditions for approximately 1,950 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) structural lining of an existing 12-inch water main, imposing requirements that applicants submit final design plans and obtain approval of dewatering plans before work begins. Seaver Anderson of Pare Corp presented revised plans for the project, which extends from Lovers Lane and Lynbrook Road southwest to a cul-de-sac, then north through a 20-foot easement on properties at 49 and 164 Main Street, terminating on Route 30.
The stream in the project area becomes perennial, though the 200-foot riverfront area does not extend into the work area. Conservation Agent Melissa Danza noted that the Commission discussed two special conditions: submission of final design before construction and approval of dewatering plans before any dewatering commences.
